Freeman is seeking a talented and customer focused Operations Coordinator who will give both our internal and external clients the best service in the industry. The role of the Operations Coordinator is to prepare regular work assignments related to the strategy for the Operations team. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Dispatch all work tickets for the Anaheim and San Diego office locations

  • Maintain pertinent information for all shows and show rules and regulations as it relates to rigging and I&D

  • Produce prior year show reports and statistics for rigging and I&D information

  • Communication with prior year exhibitors as needed to improve pre-orders for rigging and I&D

  • Assist show foreman as needed with specific inquiries, questions and information gathering

  • Handle exhibitor communication regarding rigging orders; refer technical questions to assigned foreman as needed

  • Communication with exhibitors in regards to chain hoist, truss and sign orders to gather all related information; coordinate with other departments as necessary

  • Prepare and maintain rigging schedule and rigging files for showsite foreman

  • Audit rigging orders for upcoming shows daily; enter/update condor and crew work tickets as needed

  • Periodically review completeness of I&D orders as assigned

  • Review complaints concerning rigging and billing or services rendered, coordinate with appropriate personnel and communicate with exhibitors regarding the resolution

  • Perform post show follow up with exhibitors that do not have an assigned sales person to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Assist with projects, special assignments and other duties as assigned


  • Minimum four (4) years related experience and/or training

  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to work in a team environment while being an independent thinker

  • Proven customer service and communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Outlook and Excel

  • Familiarity with safety and security measures for proper care of an operation

  • High School Diploma or GED


  • Associates Degree
