Assets Inc Cashier/Dishwasher in Anchorage, Alaska

Ensure all diners have proper identification (meal and soldiers ID card) and devote full attention to accurately accounting of all diners. Sign appropriate headcount forms and pay cash if applicable. Receive briefing, change fund and the current meal administrative instructions 15 minutes prior to the start of the meal(s) from the Food Operations sergeant or his/her representative. Perform headcount entries, cash meal payments, individual and group headcount registration, and inquire against a variety of files using an automated cash register system. Make change, cash checks, and issue receipts to customers. Read and record totals shown on cash register tape and verify against cash on hand. Review, perform file maintenance and print reports for headcount and cash collections. Update report signature blocks as well as disburse office data for the Cash Collection Voucher Report. Present a helpful, courteous and customer oriented demeanor. Able to satisfactorily complete headcount/cashiering training in regulatory policy, procedures, use of forms and use of the automated cash register system. In addition to the cashiering duties, this position will assume janitorial responsibilities outlined in the job description for the Dishwasher II position. This includes but is not limited to: busing tables, wiping down counters, ensuring the dining area is kept clean, sorting dishes/silverware and dishwashing, when required. These duties will be performed between meal serving periods when the cashiering services are not needed. Able to complete food handler training. Actively participates in company meetings and trainings. Maintain a proactive relationship with customers and coworkers. Be familiar with and follow all policies set forth by Assets, Inc. Support team efforts and actively participate in strengthening team structures. Perform other duties as assigned.
