IHG Americas’ Regional Corporate Office is centrally located at

the beautiful Ravinia Complex just outside Atlanta’s Perimeter (I-285),

Job Summary – (Role Summary)

The Director, CMH and Luxury - East will drive the

development, implementation and operation of both strategic and tactical

programs designed to enhance revenue management services penetration and

deliver significant competitive advantage for the Company. Incumbent will be

responsible for the performance and business trend analysis, process

evaluation, budgeting, field-level training, and deployment of Company

resources to achieve strategic objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (KeyActivities)

  • Coach and develop directreports to ensure a good level of productivity and consistency in theconsulting process.

  • Provide guidance to directreports in problem identification and resolution.

  • Work with internal departmentsas needed to escalate consistent issues or noted trends and bringresolution.

  • Accompany direct reports onhotel visits occasionally to assist in training and ensure teams areproviding effective problem analysis/resolution.

  • Identify training opportunitieswithin the team and coordinate/facilitate training at regional events toeliminate gaps.

  • Develop and implementinnovative revenue performance strategies to assist Franchise PerformanceSupport teams in assigned markets.

  • Guide team in finding the bestapproach for implementing and communicating strategic plans and newcompany initiatives when deployed to hotel locations.

  • Champion the ways of workingand operating model for WHSD.

  • Drive revenue performance anddelivery of our Winning Metrics

  • Work with team and other keystakeholders to assess competitive data, brainstorming on new ideas tobetter implement strategies, developing innovative consulting ororganizational tools, researching trends, planning for implementation oftargeted programs to hotels, etc.).

  • Develop and present atleadership and regional meetings in the assigned geographic region orbrand.

  • Lead assigned functions withinestablished budgetary and resource plans; establish performance standards,and operating procedures.Participate in creation of department staffing and capital budgets.

  • Asset Responsibility for theteam – Ensure that Company vehicles and training resources, computers andaudio-visual equipment are properly transported, secured and maintained.

Qualifications

Education – Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s

Degree in Hotel Management, Business, or a relevant field of work or an

equivalent combination of education and work-related experience in hotel

operations.

Experience – 12 years progressive work-related

experience in the hospitality industry, with RMH, sales or multi-unit hotel

management experience desired.

At least 5

years of experience managing teams and leading significant complex projects

desired.

Technical skills and Knowledge –

  • Demonstrated ability to leadand develop teams.

  • Demonstrated effective verbaland written communication skills for the purpose of providing informationto clients, vendors, senior management and staff.

  • Demonstrated experience withindustry and market trends as they relate to revenue opportunities, anddemonstrated ability to drive revenue.

  • Demonstrated knowledge ofeffective hotel pricing concepts, yield management optimization andselling strategies, and ability to determine which concepts to apply ingiven market conditions.

  • Demonstrated experience inindustry training, including preparation, implementation and delivery oftraining programs.

  • Demonstrated analytical skillsand ability to use the results of analysis to make effective strategicdecisions.

  • Demonstrated problem solvingand time management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability toidentify actions to improve hotel performance and develop an action plantailored to an individual hotel/account’s needs and sophistication.

  • Demonstrated attention todetail and ability to manage multiple tasks/clients required.

Atlanta, GA

TRAVEL :

Up to 60%, as needed to facilitate business objectives.
