The successful candidate will provide support to the Regulatory and Division Initiatives team in the Global Commercial & Securities Division. This role will require an individual to be knowledgeable about a number of Wholesale group initiatives and projects, while also providing support to attorneys analyzing potential regulatory impacts to the Wholesale Banking Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching federal, state, and/or international laws and regulations related to commercial lending and institutional broker-dealer transactions. In addition, this paralegal will be tasked with resolving issues and matters which may involve substantial legal or factual complexity. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop strong relationships with Wholesale Risk, Compliance, and line of business clients and partners on project-specific tasks.

In addition to providing traditional paralegal support, this position will require that the candidate be highly-organized, process-oriented, and skilled with technology. The successful candidate will be tasked with designing and providing legal-oriented reports, memos, and documentation regarding the multiple Wholesale group initiatives to Legal Department and Wholesale Banking Group leadership on a recurring basis.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of paralegal experience

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

  • Paralegal certification may be required in some states
