Hyatt Associate Manager, Digital Analytics in CHICAGO, Illinois
Summary This role has accountability for designing, managing, planning, executing, and developing targeted, real-time digital data solutions to drive Hyatt business goals. This position is a hybrid digital analytics and project management role. This person will utilize and grow his/her business and statistical/analytics skills to help manage the day to day operations for the Digital Analytics team. S/he will work with all the Digital Analytics tools and customers for test & learn, targeting & personalization. S/he will also act as a traffic controller on complex, cross functional projects requiring continuous optimization. The Digital Analytics Associate Manager reports directly to the Director of Global Digital Analytics & Optimization Strategy.
Responsibilities 70% of time will be spent on digital analytics:
Co-manage digital analytics request queue from hotels, third-party vendors, internal teams and executives to derive valuable insights/actions.
Assist in managing digital partners such as Adobe, ADARA, and other software/tool providers in the Hyatt portfolio.
Maintain Digital Channel Attribution program in partnership with the Digital Marketing team.
Analyze data into clear insights and concise action for all audiences.
Establish, define and validate KPIs in ever evolving digital environment.
Provide ongoing training to assure Hyatt stays relevant in both capabilities and understanding.
Coordinate tagging, tracking and data collection for hyatt.com and Hyatt Hotel websites.
Identify, validate and maintain all data integrity and infrastructure for Quality and Assurance.
Prioritize and manage multiple ongoing Testing, Optimization and digital analytics projects with a focus on hyatt.com daily health, optimization initiatives and Ecommerce site performance.
Troubleshoot day to day hyatt.com IT and development challenges and errors.
30% of time will be spent on project management:
Work closely in partnership across functions (corporate marketing, operations, IT, field management, hotel and agency teams, eCommerce, Content, Loyalty, UX, World of Hyatt Loyalty Program) to actively scope projects, coordinate intake/administer tasks, create plans/communicate schedules, and provide reporting and insights to key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Assist in managing and orchestrating cross functional projects throughout all stages for A/B testing the existing and evolving .com and mobile testing and optimization programs.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field required.
2-3 years of experience in a Digital Analytics or related role
Strategic thinker, process innovator, solid communicator.
Robust understanding of eCommerce, Digital Analytics concepts and tools (Adobe Analytics, Tealium, etc.) and related Digital Marketing functions.
Experience working directly with or facilitating A/B & MVT testing methodologies.
Proven experience in project management.
Exemplary time management skills, attention to detail and ability to interact with all levels of end users, including executive leadership, and technical resources.
Ability to extract and manipulate data sets and information from Digital Analytics tools.
Exposure to other technical languages such as Python, SAS, R, and SQL preferred
Ability to work with multiple partners and balance competing priorities.
