POSITION SUMMARY This position schedules medical equipment delivery. Coordinates orders and assigns deliveries to appropriate staff, dependent on equipment requested. Coordinates communication between internal and external customers and field staff. Completes physician orders for equipment. Responsible for accurately tracking and logging orders into the system for billing. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Completes patient registration, collects co-payments and deductibles, and establishes payment arrangements works with patient to maximize reimbursement. Verifies accuracy of orders including signatures and proper documentation. Validates Medicare and all regulatory compliance. Maintains required paperwork for patient files. Schedules and/or completes deliveries. Provides timely and efficient delivery of products and services in a way that meets patient needs, satisfies patients and customers, manages company resources and ensures the best possible reimbursement. Enters completed work orders in billing system. Completes paperwork and/or data entry on patient files. Audits for system and/or data entry errors. Evaluate equipment and schedule maintenance if required. Maintains established inventory levels. Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Foundation Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.
