Aon are currently recruiting a Telemarketing Team Support to join our team in Farnborough. The Telemarketing Consultant will be primarily responsible for making high level, corporate business appointments for Consultants of Aon Employee Benefits.

Overall Purpose of Job:

Reporting to the Direct Marketing Manager, the purpose of the role of Telemarketing Team Support is to:

  • Provide data research support through pre-qualifying and researching prospects/leads, both ongoing and research for specific campaigns Use the CRM system to ensure lead information is up to date, and not duplicated
  • Provide data insight to the Sales and Marketing teams through cross checking of data lists against information on the CRM
  • Provide information to the Sales team on the prospects they are meeting

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Cross-checking data lists against info on the CRM to identify potential white-space or cross over of clients/prospects
  • Using the Pearlfinders subscription to provide additional leads to the telemarketing team
  • To compile reports for the Sales team on the prospects and companies that they are due to visit using Pearlifinders, SFDC, Linkedin, Glassdoor, etc
  • Completing ad hoc research on data for specific campaigns
  • Comprehensively gathering as much current relevant information as is possible
  • Ensuring leads/prospects are updated on the CRM, and distributed equally among the team
  • Deleting potential duplicate data from the CRM
  • Answering the inbound enquiry phoneline when necessary
  • Researching directories/internet sites for new prospects
  • Undertaking any additional team support activities as requested by the Direct Marketing Manager

About you

As a Telemarketing Team Support your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Skills and qualifications:

Technical Skills Required:

  • Industry experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience of the Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Data Analyst experience
  • Ideally experience of saleforce/ oracle database.
  • Experience of working with database/CRM packages
  • Well organised and able to deliver to agreed timescales and expected quality standards
  • Other Skills Required:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • High levels of literacy, numeracy and attention to detail
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative and within a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure of targets
