This job was posted by : For more information, please see: JOB DESCRIPTIONThe expediting clerk will monitor open purchase orders to ensure materials are delivered in the specified amount of time, to the correct delivery location. The expediting clerk will also maintain a record of outstanding purchase orders as well as vendor responses to delays or issues and relay information collected to all affiliated parties, and work to resolve any delivery issues.The expediting clerk also monitors shipments to ensure that purchase order information matches the shipment. This can include the quantity and quality of materials. The expediter resolves inconsistencies in the order.The expediting clerk will act as the single point of contact for shipping and receiving activities, and will perform other administrative duties relating to procurement and subcontracts as follows: Market research Cost and pricing analysis Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures to ensure file documentation is compliant with CPSR. Assist with the draft/negotiate modifications and change orders Administration of agreements to include communication with both internal and external customer Prepare/coordinate formal contract close-out with vendors Receive incoming packages, deliver package to requestor, obtain acceptance from requestor, & update CostPoint records as appropriate Prepare and ship outgoing packages including preparing internal logs Research/resolve delivery issues including running tracers on packagesOther duties as needed or required.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONPinnacle Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
