This job was posted by : For more information, please see: STB Boutique Job Description:The STB Style Consultant/Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales, establishing and maintaining customer relationships by delivering superior customer service, and keeping an orderly sales floor. The Style Consultant/Sales Associate also assists in the merchandising and maintenance of the floor and corresponding stockroom area as well.Style Consultant/Sales Associate Job Duties: Welcome customers as they enter the store (Hi, how are you doing today? Let me know if Ican help you with anything) Meet and make a connection with customers throughout their shopping experience (offer tostart a fitting room) Listen to customers' needs Give up-to date style advice to meet the customers' needs Work to build a relationship with the customer so that they feel comfortable. Organize products on the sales floor including jewelry, accessories, and gifts (all tables andshelving) Ensure that fitting rooms are ready for customers by promptly clearing out merchandise andreturning it to the proper area of the selling floor Maintain an orderly sales floor by spacing hangers and keeping items in SM-3X order (leftto right/ hangers should be in "question mark" format. Clothing should be hung straight, clean, great presentation. Restock supplies as needed (shopping bags, business cards, bag inserts, printing paper,etc..) Handle each register transaction professionally and in a friendly manner Learn our procedures to enhance selling efficiencies Fulfill online orders promptly Understand rewards program and use it consistently Handle returns courteously and professionally Handle cashier duties (counting down drawer, gift-cards, store returns, checking customersout, giving change, running credit cards) Maintain strong organizational skills, attention to detail Maintain a professional attitude at all times Develop product knowledge of all products and company background Be aware of current promotional events and sales Maintain good housekeeping standards (remove trash, debris, and dust from sales floor) Perform other duties as assigned in a timely manner Be punctual Work to build a positive relationship with co-workers Maintain confidentiality about vendors, pricing, and sales totals Show initiative during slow times You may be asked to process shipments which includes hanging, checking, and steaming clothing as it arrives. You may be asked to take photos, post on social media, etc.Qualifications: Education/Experience: Previous customer service experience preferred Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectivelycommunicate with customers, peers, and management. A strong understanding of Social Media best practices. Reasoning Ability: Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remainingflexible to the needs of the business. Ability to work as part of a team and take initiativeindependent of direct supervision. Physical Demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching,grabbing and standing throughout the shift. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling,crouching, and climbing ladders. Work Hours: Available to work a variety of hours, which may include mornings, evenings,weekend, and holiday shifts.
