Description: Manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, finance, and functional support management. Oversees the status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Monitors the assessment of project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Insures the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, functional managers, and clients.
Desired Skills: Must have a working knowledge of ECM equipment and understand support requirements as applied to a programmatic perspective. Familiarity with other common military electronic systems is strongly desired. Proficient in the following - JOBSCOPE/ IT Reports,GOLD,and Microsoft Office applications;Excellent communication skills and able to work under strict time constraints. PMP Certification is a plus.
Knowledge of project management practices (Cost-Earned value, Schedule, Performance), to include practical program/project management experience in the Military support arena. Work ethic to deliver quality products/services on time and within budget.
