_Job Description:_

There is an exciting Operational Risk Consultant opportunity in Enterprise Information Security (EIS) within Corporate Risk. Coordinate with internal Wells Fargo teams including; The Proposal Center, Treasury Management Sales Consultants, and Relationship Managers in providing responses to customer inquiries for information that is; data security, technical risk, and security audit in nature.

Inquiries can be in response to a Request for Proposal (RFP), or a due diligence request (reverse audit) from a current bank customer. Responses need to follow bank policy, being both accurate and appropriate.

Due diligence reverse audits may also require participating in discussions with customers, both on conference calls and on-site meetings. On-site meetings with customers are rare.

Coordinate with internal groups, including both LOB Legal and eCommerce, Technology, Information & Global Services (eTIGS) attorneys in contract reviews. Focus of the review is from a Reverse Audit perspective including issues that are; technical, information security, or audit in nature. Participate in contract discussions with customers.

Specific Responsibilities to include:

  • Reverse Audits

o Develop Request for Proposal (RFP) responses

o Customer consultation / onsite meeting

o Contract negotiation

o Payments, Virtual Solutions and Innovation (PVSI) reverse audit review & approval

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

  • 2+ years of information security experience

  • 1+ year of risk and regulatory compliance experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

  • Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams

  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change

  • Meeting facilitation experience in leading discussions that result in consensus and commitment

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to build business cases

  • Treasury management experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of Payment Card Industry (PCI) controls

  • Information Security Frameworks and standards (FFIEC, NIST, ISO) experience

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
