As a Senior Creative Project Manager, you will focus on organizing and leading the cross-functional teams’ resources to deliver stakeholder solutions that achieve stated business objectives on time, within budget, and with quality. You will own the management of the full project lifecycle within a new business opportunity, communicate directly with our stakeholders, and manage stakeholder staff, vendors, and team members. You should be passionate about process and organization.

SUMMARY:

Oversee the entire lifecycle of a new business RFP or Presentation from gathering input and requirements through to production, while being responsible for prioritizing, assigning owners, and managing timelines and deliverables across teams. Actively participate in design thinking methodology while orchestrating and executing a number of projects and continuously improving processes, quality, and efficiencies.

Other Duties:

  • Manages new business opportunities from end to end including: scope, schedule, budget and conflicting priorities.

  • Builds comprehensive work plans, timelines and approval gates.

  • Works with stakeholders to determine project goals and requirements.

  • Aligns project plans to business goals.

  • Ensures that teams are properly constructed and roles and responsibilities are clear.

  • Meets and communicates with stakeholders regularly to provide project status updates. Identifies risks and manages emerging issues.

  • Manages multiple, complex tasks simultaneously.

  • Reports weekly team workload status to manager. Maintains a clear picture of team capacity and workload. Manages and maintain job schedule.

  • Enforces deadlines and problem solves in an efficient and professional manner.

  • Works within specified deadlines; edit and revise work based on stakeholder feedback.

  • Collaborates with an interdisciplinary group of designers as well as stakeholders from other disciplines such as sales, marketing, operations and fabrication.

  • Participates in design planning for complex, multidisciplinary projects.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Exceptional understanding of various design disciplines support job to talent alignment.

  • Excellent understanding of key business skills including Accounting and Economics.

  • Excellent understanding of business as it relates to design disciplines.

  • Excellent attention to detail, concentration, problem solving and ability to conceptualize and implement project construction.

  • Excellent ability to influence without authority and drive to completion.

  • Skilled at working with many different levels of people and different personalities.

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for managing projects to conclusion on time and on budget.

  • Excellent ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to follow a user-centered methodological approach to design projects.

  • Highly organized.

  • Ability to discover and articulate design objectives and apply solutions to the project at hand.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

  • 5+ years’ experience in a creative agency, corporate marketing environment, or architectural design firm in applicable areas of business development, strategic planning, and operations.

  • PMP preferred.

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree required
