About the Wells Fargo Regional Foundation and CDC

The Wells Fargo Regional Foundation (“WFRF” and the Wells Fargo Regional Community Development Corporation (“WFRCDC”) are two, unique private foundations within Wells Fargo & Co. The WFRF had its beginnings in 1998, when it was created as a result of the merger of two financial services companies, one of which had its geographic boundaries in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, which remained the defined geography of the Foundation. Its philanthropic focus is on community development, and the resources of the Foundation are used to support the creation and implementation of comprehensive resident-driven neighborhood revitalization efforts in low-income communities.

The WFRCDC, created in 1993, is complementary in its focus and affiliation, although it primarily provides loans and investments to support nonprofit organizations and for-profit businesses for select ventures that are designed to promote community and economic development opportunities for low-income individuals and communities within the same geography.

The WFRF has a $90MM endowment; the WFRCDC has an endowment of $9MM.
