The Boeing Company Contracts & Pricing Rep in Saint Louis, Missouri
The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Contracts team is seeking to fill two (2) open positions for experienced Contracts Representatives. The Contracts Representative selected for this assignment will lead the acquisition team in support of requirements definition planning, organizing, development and submittal of proposals and subsequent negotiation and administration. This individual will work under a team lead within the organization and will frequently work with a wide range of businesses and divisions across Boeing and with external customers in both Prime and Inter-Organizational Transactions (IWT) roles. Through close coordination with various functions (including, but not limited to Estimating & Pricing, Supplier Management, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Financial Controls, Program Management, Global Sales and Marketing, etc.)
Position Responsibilities: *
Forming Requirements Definition with internal and external customers; RFP review; Proposal Plan of Action development; coordination and facilitation; proposal development; proposal gate reviews; negotiations; contract award and post award activities.
Candidates must exhibit strong problem solving and organizational skills and should be able to work relatively independently through the challenges and high-volume of proposal/estimate actions.
The BGS Contracting team operates in a fast paced environment, customer service that requires the interested candidate to demonstrate the following critical skills and abilities: problem solving, customer relationship building, communication and organization.
Ability to research and effectively solve problems, effectively collaborate and lead acquisition teams, develop negotiation positions and ensure proper hand-offs with the execution teams.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):*

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively across functions, and with counterparts that are located on various time zones.
Detailed knowledge of USG proposal processes
USG contract negotiation experience
Familiarity with FAR and DFAR Terms and Conditions
Ability to solve problems and generate alternatives
Detailed knowledge of Boeing policies/procedures and external regulations/procedures
Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
Strong customer relationship skills
Strong time management skill
Ability to provide sound contractual guidance to program management
- Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
